As I observed its not just simply listening to the discussion but refection is also important. Because you will know how far you have understand about developing a system (a system not just for the sake of passing but a system that you will be proud of and you can call it yours..) In Chapter 1, we have discussed about the System Development Life Cycle. Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation and Maintenance are the five important phases in SDLC. Did we follow these phases in developing our system?...hmmm..No, base on my experience in my database system 1, we made a system but we didn't follow these steps..we focused directly on the implementation. And know I learned..I realized that 3 months is not enough. Thinking of a system took as so long, what more in the other phases?..I hope that me and my groupmates can meet the requirements and can produce a system that is in line with our course. Honestly, i took this course not knowing what Computer Science really is..I don't even know the mission and vision of IC. Taking System Analysis and Design with Sir Randy S.
